For students interested in playing sports this summer. The Summer 2021 Season will be run by the PSAL.
The Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL), is pleased to announce the PSAL Summer Program. PSAL Summer will provide comprehensive athletic training including strength training, sport-specific skill development, and competitive opportunities with the goal of improving the skill level of New York City’s high school public school students. PSAL Summer will operate five days a week Monday-Friday, 4 pm to 7 pm starting July 12 and running through August 13, in sites throughout all five boroughs. The program is open to all high school-aged students who are interested, regardless of any previous participation in PSAL activity. Families will be given the ability to register their students online at www.PSAL.org. More information regarding registration will be shared soon. Please be advised that as the PSAL continues to work with health partners and city officials to monitor the pandemic, all policies and health guidance are subject to change.
#1: IF allowed by PSAL, the following Fall sport teams can start on August 15th. The fall season usually runs from August - October.
If you are interested in a team, please contact the coach for dates and details. Their contact info is below. In addition, as always, in order to participate (including tryouts) you will need to submit valid medical clearance and parent consent. Go to the next page for more information and details.

- What protocols and policies will be implemented?

The parent must read all 13 statements and write their inItials in each space provided for each statement. The parent must also sign and date the bottom in the space provided. |

- What if the student was on a PSAL HSTAT team roster during the truncated Spring 2021 season?
The medical form the student submitted during the truncated Spring 2021 season is valid. Follow the directions below and the Athletic Director, Ms. Murray will reply to you within 3 days.
Directions FOR question C above: Complete this Google form ONLY if you are a rising HSTAT 10th grader, 11th grader, or 12th grader AND; you were on an official PSAL HSTAT team roster during the truncated Spring 2021 season.
- D. Where and when do I submit the forms?
The student must submit the forms IN PERSON ONLY TO THE COACH in order to be able to participate. The completed forms CANNOT be emailed/FAXED to the school.
- How do I know whether the medical form was completed properly by the doctor?
Before you leave the doctor's office make sure:
- The doctor has completed the medical form in pen. Other attachments (for example, Medical History printed out by the doctor's office) will NOT be accepted.
- The doctor MUST put their stamp on the form.
