Dear Families of the Class of 2025 and Transfer Students,
Welcome to the HSTAT community! We are very excited that your child will be joining us next year and we are already planning for their arrival. There is a lot to do and we are asking for your help. We know this is a lot of information and many surveys to complete. As a thank you, we will send HSTAT swag to the families who complete all of these forms by Sunday, June 13th. You can find this all on our website as well at www.hstat.org.
We will be sending another email soon with a welcome video from our tremendous ninth grade team and a virtual tour of our beautiful building. If you are part of our Nest program, you will be contacted by a member of our Nest team. In the meantime, please be in touch if you have any questions.

Emergency Contact Information and so much more!
It is important that we have emergency contact information on file for your child. There are also a lot of additional questions that will help us prepare for your child’s arrival at our school.

Summer Camp/Summer Bridge/Nest Summer Bridge
We will be offering a summer bridge program this summer beginning Wednesday, July 7, and running through to July 29 from 9 am to 1 pm. During that time, students will engage in hands-on activities and projects that are designed to build community and help students to feel comfortable in our building.

We are also asking that your child complete a series of forms. Those forms include:
- An interest survey that will help us get to know your child and will also help us create their schedule for the fall.
- A Spanish diagnostic that will help us place them in the correct level Spanish course for the fall.
- The application to our Computer Software Engineering Program.

NYC Schools Account
If you have not yet activated your child’s NYC Schools Account, please do so. This account will allow you to update and access important information. You will need a creation code in order to access your child’s information. Please reach out to your child’s current school as we do not yet have access to your child’s creation code.

Decline HSTAT Offer
We know that life sometimes takes people in different directions. If you are not planning to send your child to HSTAT in the fall, please let us know. If you are declining your child’s offer to HSTAT, you will have to indicate this in your myschools account as well.
