                       -Eel*                                             -Soysauce*                                         -Cucumber*

 How to Prepare:

1) Cook your rice
(3 cups of rice is a good amount)

2) Defrost the frozen foods such as crab meat and the fish eggs
(I put the unopened crab meat in water and let the eel& fish eggs sit around for a few hours)

3) Heat up the eel in microwave or toaster

4) Slice the skin off of the cucumber and being to cut

5) Use a spoon to scrape off the seeds in the cucumber and cut into thin pieces

6) Peel the plastic off the crab meat and separate into little pieces

6) Cut the eel into thin long pieces as well

7) Put the bamboo roller in a Ziploc/ plastic wrap to prevent rice from sticking

8) Put all the sliced pieces in separate plates

Instructions:

1)      When rice is cooked, mix the rice with a tablespoon of vinegar to have the restaurant taste of sushi rice

2)      Place the seaweed on top of the bamboo roller

3)      Put a thin layer of rice on top of the seaweed and spread it evenly. I chose to only put rice on half of the seaweed but it’s your choice.

4)      Carefully flip over the seaweed so the rice is facing down

5)      Now you put the ingredients that you want in it, (cucumber, crab meat, and eel)

6)      Carefully begin your way to roll up the bamboo so it becomes a roll of sushi

 7)      Sprinkle fish eggs on the rice. This makes the sushi look more colorful and gives it a little taste

8)      Dip your knife into the bowl of water. This will prevent the rice from sticking to your knife when cutting the sushi.

 9)      Carefully cut the sushi into six pieces
(Try not to squeeze or cut too hard, use a sharp knife to cut the sushi so the rice will not break apart)

Wasabi:  This is a traditional Japanese dip that is served when eating sushi. Eat in small amounts because it will cause a burning sensation and watery eyes, but it tastes great!

10)  Squeeze a desirable amount of wasabi in a plate and mix it with soy sauce.

ENJOY!!!
