What do you like most about teaching?

I truly enjoy and love being in the classroom with the students. I always say that teaching is like acting in a theater. You have five performances every day and the audience and acting constantly changes. The performance could be unforgettable but it could also go wrong. It is both amazing and challenging to be responsible for the learning and success of our youth. Teaching allows me to make a difference every single day.

What do you like most about working at HSTAT?

As an alum I am proud to say that HSTAT has always represented a community in which the spirit of collaboration, the sense of respect and professionalism are at the heart of everything we do. I also truly enjoy working together with my co-teacher Ms. Peña, an alum herself. We both have faith and take pride in this school.
